I started my photography adventure in 2008, when people were starting to put pictures of themselves up on social media and art sites.

I saw how much energy and effort went into making themselves look incredible, beautiful, eye-catching.

But the photos of these amazing people,
people who deserved to be seen and celebrated,
didn't measure up.

I found myself thinking,
"I can do better. I can do them justice."

So I did.
