This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.
That's okay!
Most people feel nervous about any photoshoot - even experienced models!
We can do anything and everything to prioritise your comfort, including having your favourite snacks, music, and friends present.
We'll talk before and during the shoot to get to know each other better, allowing me to get the best of you to come through in your photos.
What should I wear?
Wear something flattering, something comfortable, something that gives you confidence.
Are those all different outfits? Bring them all!
We can look through them together and decide on which ones will show the best 'you'.
How many pictures will I receive?
Between 4 and 6 finished edits for a typical portrait shoot, depending on what we've agreed.
You can always purchase additional edits too, which many of my clients do!
After I sort through the initial photos taken on the day, I'll send you unedited previews for you to choose from.
Once you've chosen your favourites, I'll start editing them to bring them to life in my style, and you'll have your beautiful finished portraits in about 2 working weeks (barring any emergencies or unexpected issues)!
Note:
Completed pictures will be provided in .JPG file format.
.ARW or 'raw' files are not given to clients unless specifically agreed upon beforehand.
In such case, contract details would be altered to reflect the particular arrangement.
Are you available outside of Toronto?
I work anywhere within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
I'm happy to travel to specific shoot locations outside of the GTA for particular backdrops, as long as suitable compensation is provided.
Feel free to discuss it with me!
Do you do couples photography?
Sure!
Couples shoots and group shoots (2-6 people) are absolutely available on request.
They are higher in price due to the extra time and energy involved in organising and managing the extra people.
Feel free to inquire and discuss the details with me, and we'll make it happen!
Can I bring friends along to my shoot?
Absolutely!
Bringing along friends or family isn't just allowed, but encouraged for moral support!
Anyone willing to help carry or hold photography equipment would be much appreciated too, but not expected.
I only ask that we limit the number of non-shoot people to a maximum of 2, and that they not interfere during the shoot itself.
Pets are welcome as well, as long as there is a non-shoot person present to handle their needs.
